Last week, JCK at Motherscribe asked if I would write a guest post for her, since she’s going on vacation this week. I tried to be cool, and all “Yeah, sure, why not?” But really, I pretty much squealed, but in type, and maybe a little bit out loud. Because her blog is one of my favorites, I’m thrilled that she asked. Plus, she’s one of the coolest chicks I’ve met through blogging.
So that’s where you’ll find me today.

Of course they will remember that as the best part of their day. Things exactly like that are what memories are made of. They will never, ever forget, and that is what will make them call and e-mail you later. (Maybe even more than you want sometimes, but it will be better than none at all.)

What a beautiful post Jennifer. I wish I would have asked those same type questions of my children. Instead I asked the “how was your day” and always got the “Okay” answer. I never even thought of elaborating into more probing type ones. Great questions to ask.
