Goodnight Bush

by Jennifer on June 6, 2008

You heard it here first. This is the coffee table book of the year. My friend Ms. W sent me the link to this, and I’m quite sure I won’t be able to resist buying it.

If you click on the image, it will take you to GoodnightBush.com, where you can take a look inside the first few pages (to turn the page, click and drag the corner of the cover and subsequent pages after you go to Take a Look Inside).

Make sure you look at all the objects in the room and outside the window.

It’s time to announce the winner of the latest giveaway, a copy of A Room of One’s Own by Virginia Woolf. I used our super-sophisticated award selection process (closing my eyes and picking a slip of paper from a box), and the winner is…

CCE (her blog is Mad Marriage)! Congratulations, and I hope you enjoy the book.

(CCE, I will email you to work out shipping details.)

Here at the House of H, we’re mulling over the last details of The Big, Final, No-Turning-Back Decision about where to move. The story might even have a surprise ending, so I hope you’re all comfortable there on the edges of your seats. (I’m on the edge of mine, for sure…) I should have some news to share soon.

I’ve also realized that it’s long past time to finish packing, but I will still check in with everyone when I can’t stand the sight of bubble wrap (or junk from under the kids beds) anymore and need a break.

Goodnight Bush – AMEN!!

I can’t wait to hear where you all are moving – maybe it will be close to me. I read several blogs where the ladies and their families are moving and I always hope they are moving close to me – I’m not sure why.

Have a good day – Kellan

What a great book..It is definitely heirloom quality reading!

Moving, I loathe moving. Well, unless it was to a charming new house, with no mature cottonwoods in the backyard.
